ABOUT THE SHOW HOUSES
American Red Cross, Broward County Chapter has announced its second annual Designers' Show House. After an incredibly successful inaugural house, the Chapter has decided to double the fun, employing the unique concept of transforming two separate houses directly across the street from each other on Nurmi Drive, in the gorgeous Las Olas Isles community.
Each home has its own very distinct personality. One-forty-six Nurmi Drive is a sweeping Mediterranean-style home with an impressive multi-story grand hall overlooking a sizeable outdoor entertainment area, pool, and dockage. One-fifty-three Nurmi Drive is an ultra-contemporary home, featuring a unique master suite occupying the entire second floor. Both floors overlook a spa pool, multi-level outdoor entertainment area and dockage.
The 2008 American Red Cross Designer's Showhouse committee is chaired by Kendall Spencer and Christine Forman. Mariel Rubin, ASID will serve as Design Chair and Monica Joyce, ASID will serve as Project Manager supervising an exceptional team of designers.
The 2008 Designers' Showhouse will open to the public from March 1 through March 23. Michael Payne, of HGTV's "Designing for the Sexes," will host a Preview Party on February 29.
